JDMIS is placing more attention on its web, mobile, new media and community marketing channels. These include improvements to its own website, SEO, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, FourSquare and other new media concepts. The position will require the review of existing activities and systems and proposal of changes/upgrades/new channels to try. Following management approval, suggested changes should be planned and executed in a manner that will allow systematic maintenance and frequent measurement of each channel's success.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong interest in marketing and new media. Hands-on or project management skills in graphics, video and text content development will be a significant asset to ensure project success. Technical skills in web development, app development or internet-related skills will also be welcome.

The school is operates a small, efficient, entrepreneurial team where all members multi-task working towards shared goals. Candidates joining the school for this positions should expect daily contact with management and the responsibility to identify and pursue meaningful business projects to help the business grow.

This is a part-time position requiring approximately 10-16 hours a week and at least 4 hours a week presence on school premises to execute plans, produce content or work with stakeholders. The school operates 7 days a week and the candidate for this position will be expected to operate on a flexible schedule and track their time and performance on- and off-site. The first deliverable, following kick-off meetings with management, will be an action plan and list of performance measurements for ongoing activities. Mature, driven and independent individuals will find this a rewarding experience.

The position is ideal for candidates with an interest in the jewellery/luxury goods industries and for those with experience and interest in building/using a broad range of skills related to internet marketing.

The school has established a fixed stipend for this part-time position and will, with the assistance of the successful candidate, establish performance-based rewards to supplement the stipend.

This position is only open to residents of Singapore (Singaporean, PR, Employment Pass, Dependant Pass.) JDMIS will apply for work authorization for dependant pass holders or work permits for qualifying LTSVP holders (eg: wives of SPR) if required. Applications from foreign nationals without long-term residence status in Singapore cannot and will not be entertained.
