Business Development & Luxury Sales Executive

This is a good role for someone with an interest in jewellery and luxury items, with an eye for design and an affinity to marketing and sales. We are a 100+ year old family business and looking for someone to spearhead our sales and business development team in Singapore. Job Overview: As a Business Development & Luxury Sales Executive, you will be at the forefront of our retail and wholesale operations, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales.
For more understanding of your role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Value Creation: Ability to create long-term value for the company and assist in lead generation, market research, and customer outreach efforts.
- Customer Experience Enhancement: Implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience, from the first interaction to post-purchase engagement, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Omni-Channel Marketing: Develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies to reach customers through various platforms, including social media, influencers, events, and partnerships, ensuring a seamless and engaging brand experience. Will also be expected to assist in creating some of the content and ideating marketing campaigns with the team.
- Visual Merchandising: Collaborate with the design team to curate visually stunning displays for the office showroom to showcase the beauty and craftsmanship of the jewellery/gems.
- Collaboration with Artisans: Foster relationships with jewellery artisans and craftsmen locally in the wholesale and retail sector, highlighting the craftsmanship behind each piece and leveraging these stories in marketing campaigns.
- Market Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends and consumer preferences to inform product development, marketing strategies, and sales initiatives.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics and market insights to make informed decisions, optimize marketing strategies, and identify opportunities for growth.
- Sales Strategizing and Growth: Develop and implement sales strategies for Khiards. Will be expected to achieve and exceed mutually agreed upon sales targets. Utilize proven techniques to drive sales growth to expand and strengthen our presence in both retail and wholesale gemstone and jewellery markets in Singapore.
- Sales Reports Analysis: Generate and analyse monthly sales performance through sales reports and track progress against set strategies and targets. Will be expected to course correct if sales are continually below expectations, escalating to higher management if necessary.
- Sales and Marketing Strategy Cohesiveness: Make sure the sales and omni-channel marketing strategies align with one another. For example, a promotion advertised in one medium should be reflected seamlessly throughout the company.
- Inventory Management: Organize, count, and log inventory, ensuring accurate records and efficient order fulfilment. Collaborate with the operations team to manage stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Office Showroom Maintenance: Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of the physical store, ensuring a clean, inviting, and well-organized environment.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist in administrative duties, such as processing sales transactions, maintaining customer records, and managing paperwork related to inventory and orders.
