Responsibilities

The Store Manager is responsible for ensuring that the store achieves or exceeds sales plan and profitability target, and for the day-to-day responsibilities of managing a store. This Store Manager will effectively lead and support the sales and operations of a store to meet and / or exceed individual sales plan with a strong focus on the execution of activities focused on client development. Additionally, this individual will lead the store in providing a high level of customer service and ensure that employees are coached and developed to maximise performance.  
 
 
Deliver profit plan sales and profit objectives:
 
> Achieve or exceed store sales plan and profitability targets.
> Demonstrate favorable/positive audit and control results
> Demonstrate favorable ROI on major investments
 
Develop, Enhance and Implement a culture of service excellence:
 
> Foster a climate of Service Excellence - define, model and hold staff accountable for demonstrating the behaviors that enhance customer engagement, build enduring relationships and represent client's Brand values.
> Coach all staff to reinforce client's training concepts and develop the necessary skills to ensure consistent delivery of Service Excellence. 
 
Gain / Maximize Market Share:
 
> Assess local market opportunities to develop a proactive and effective customer development strategy to drive new customer acquisition, lapsed customer re-engagement, and cultivation of client's Register customers.
> Communicate the client development strategy and the related individual objectives for each member of the branch.
> Utilize and champion Engage as the tool to execute client development strategy, ensuring consistent collection and updating of client information, and strategic analysis of data and reports.
> Ensure that brand standard levels are maintained and appropriate resources are allocated for client development events and campaigns, by partnering with Merchandising, Marketing and other groups as applicable.
 
Acquire, Develop and Maximize top talent
 
> Acquire Talent:  Build a robust internal and external talent pipeline through employee, client and personal networking. Effectively identify and select top talent by using pre-hire assessment reports and interview guides for every hiring decision.  Use client's Onboarding program to ensure a consistent, branded onboarding experience for all new employees.
> Develop Talent: Hold quarterly PMP meetings with all members of staff to discuss performance relative to expectations/plans, to identify and leverage strengths, and to close any identified skill gaps through appropriate coaching and/or training.  Ensure timely and effective resolution of all significant performance issues by creating action plans for underperforming employees.
> Maximize Top Talent:  Craft Talent Maximization Plans for your top talent.  Be an advocate for, and share information about your top talent, to enable the maximization and mobility of our top talent across the business.
 
Mainain the highest standards of the in-store presentation of client's brand:
 
> Be aware of all current CVM and Merchandising directives and ensure their timely implementation.
> CVM – Maintain standards for all creative vehicles in store, including: Windows and vitrines, signage, flowers, holiday décor.
> Merchandising – Maintain standards for PPM and merchandising directives: Ensure case line presentations complete and up to date and maintain merchandising adjacencies.
> Communicate needs for special events and provide timely CVM feedback to appropriate CVM Director.
 
 
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least an O Level, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field.
  • At least 6 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Of which minimum THREE years must be in a Managerial capacity
  • Candidates from Luxury Jewellery Background will have added advantage
  • Candidates must have experience managing a TEAM or at least 15 - 20 Staff
  • Candidate must be willing to work on Weekends, PH and on shift hours
  • Preferably Managers specializing in Sales - Retail/General or equivalent.
  • Full-Time positions available.
